About the club
We are a legacy, all volunteer San Francisco Boat Club, incorporated in 1963, deeply rooted in the community.
We offer boating education, seasonal racing and the annual renowned Plastic Classic regatta started in the early 1980’s.
Members and guests are welcome; we have fun, enjoy live music & sea stories.
It’s Salmon Season!!
Calling all BVBC club members and friends with boats to join us for the BVBC Salmon Derby on Sunday July 19.
Don’t have a boat? Drop an application and we’ll do our best to try to find you a boat to go on.
Fishing will most likely take place along the beautiful Marin County coast from Muir Beach to Stinson Beach and we expect there to be plenty of fish this year!
And of course, there will be prizes!
Download an application or drop by the club to pick on up.
Racing
We host competitive races April - October for all classes of boats. Race entry is encouraged from sailors around the Bay!
Boating education
Our boating education programs are run by members and volunteers to ensure that sailors can have fun and stay safe while learning the basics of boating. We hold programs for youth and adult woman.
The membership
The club is centered around boating and the Bay. Members come from around the Bay Area and bring a commitment to volunteering at the club and in our programs.
